Free Online Compliance Resources for Physician Assistants

These are the trusted resources we frequently use to understand changing rules across telehealth, corporate practice of medicine (CPOM), scope of practice, licensure compacts, and digital compliance. All are free and publicly available.

1. CCHP Telehealth Policy Finder

The most comprehensive, up-to-date tool for tracking telehealth policies across all 50 states, DC, and territories.
Covers:

  • Medicaid reimbursement

  • Private payer laws

  • Audio-only, video, RPM, and store-and-forward

  • Prescribing rules, licensure compacts, consent requirements

Use the filters by modality, topic, or state, and download PDF summaries or view the full policy database. You can also compare two states side by side. This is by far our favorite resource.

3. Permit Health – CPOM and PC Formation Resource

Includes a 50-state CPOM guide and ongoing PC formation support for restricted states.

4. AAPA PA Licensure Compact Tracker

Tracks legislative adoption of the Physician Assistant Licensure Compact, simplifying multi-state licensure. Includes map, legislative status, and FAQs.
